Our Staff

All Jubilee Road Children’s Centre staff are responsive, gentle and respectful of young children as individuals, seeing themselves as partners in learning with families and children.

Administration at the centre consists of an owner/consultant, and a director. In addition to the administrative positions, we employ four full time teachers and a part time assistant to facilitate the delivery of our special needs program. The owner, director and classroom staff are all trained early childhood educators, with first aid and CPR certification. All have undergone a criminal records check and have been screened through the provincial child abuse registry.

Our staff members actively continue to strengthen their knowledge of child development and each member of the team brings their unique skills and talents to the learning environment. These skills and talents range from fine art and music education to an extensive knowledge of animals and the natural world. As every member of our staff has a role in the care and the development of the children at our centre we provide training and professional development for all members to help them understand our approach to curriculum.
